What are some tips as
I move in and settle in?

  • Only use push pins/tacks to attach things to a wall. Any type of tape, adhesive, non-tack size nail, or poster putty will cause damage to the wall and result in a large(50+) repair and repainting charges at move out.
  • Electricity Breaker Panels are located behind a bedroom door or in the entrance hall for apartments, and in the living room or dining room for townhouses.
  • Vacuum cleaners are available to borrow from the office. They are free to use unless you do not return it, then you will be charged $1 per day for usage.
  • Don't smoke in your unit. Deodorizing charges start at $200.
  • Garbage disposals have trouble with grease, bones, fruit skin and onion skin, as well as many other damaging items. Use common sense when using the disposal.
  • We love pets, but they don't belong at Campus View. Even a visit by an animal will result in the need for clean up and deodorizing. The issue is that many tenants have allergies and you might be affecting a neighbor or the next tenant living in your unit. The clean up and deodorizing charges start at $200.
    • Your copy of the lease agreement has a lot of great details about specific tenant & landlord requirements.
    • You can always contact the office to get a question answered. We would love to touch base with you and help you out as best we can.
